My home is finally much cooler than hell could ever dream of being. No, we don't have the a/c that went out for repair 2 weeks ago back. In fact, when D called them yesterday they said, "Oh, it's not ready yet, and we're closed this weekend for the holiday." They've had the damn thing for 2 weeks already, what's the hold up?! He emailed me at work, told me the wonderful news and said, "Wanna make a trip to BJ's after work?" HELL YES! So, we got a new a/c with a little more power and I can finally do housework again without sweating like a pig. If those bastards ever give us our other air conditioner back, we're finally going to cut a hole in the wall in the bedroom and put it in there. We've had permission from the condo association to do it for a while, just haven't gotten around to it.

Heading out to watch town fireworks this evening. They've gotten pretty good over the past few years. Funny how funds are lacking in so many areas in this town yet they can still put on a heck of a fireworks show every 4th of July.

Tomorrow we're heading into Boston. The weather is going to be beautiful. Not sure if we're going to head to the Esplanade or not. We did that one year. It was completely insane. Fun, but insane. The Pops concert is fun and the fireworks are always fantastic.
