Brief update and minor bitching
Monday, Mar. 07, 2005 : 7:17 p.m.
Theres so much to update I dont know where to begin, or if Ill even remember it all.

First things first. My brother-in-laws surgery went well. It was on 2/15. The surgery took about 2 hours. Even though he was out of surgery around 11, we didnt see him until around 5 that afternoon. That hospital needs better communication! It was a long day. Even under the circumstances it was nice to have the 3 of them here. Every time anyone from my family visits, I always feel so empty when they leave.

Heck, just today I was driving along and saw another motorist that resembled my dad (it was the white beard that caught my eye) and I wanted to cry. Why did I want to cry? Dont rightly know. Because I really miss living near him and Mom? I dont know.

Ive been fighting an ear infection from hell. Remember the itchy ear I mentioned last July? Yeah, well, it became infected, only I didnt know it was infected otherwise Id have gotten my butt into the doctors office a lot sooner. The right ear had a smaller infection in it as well by the time I got in there. At first my doctor gave me drops to put in them, which cleared up the infection in the right ear but not the left. I went back to see her last Thursday afternoon and she prescribed me a 3 pack of Zithromax. I finished that on Saturday and its still really bothering me. That stuff is supposed to stay in your system for like 7 to 10 days, so if its still bothering me by, say, Thursday, I may call her again. She also wants me to see an Ears, Nose and Throat specialist, so have an ENT appointment set up for this Friday. Hopefully I can get some answers, and some relief, before I stick a wire brush in my ear and just rip it to shreds. Yeah, it bothers me that much.

Ds birthday was last week. I was going to take him out for dinner but he was so tired from the night before (his volleyball buddies kept him out a little later than usual celebrating his birthday) that we ended up just getting take out from our favorite Chinese restaurant and playing his birthday gift all night. I got him Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords for the Xbox. Its just as addicting as the first KotOR game. There are these droids in the new KotOR game on the Peragus Mining Facility that from time to time look like theyre doing the little Two Wild and Crazy Guys swing. It cracks me up every time one of them does it. There are a lot of little glitches in the new KotOR game, but its still very, very good.

So the sensitive information that I received a little over a week ago I talked with D about. Several times. He doesnt want me to get involved in any way. Im certainly not going to go against his wishes. It concerns his (idiot) sister-in-law. Shes been seeing other people and has a profile on match.com (it was her user name there that I was provided with) thats been there since at least December 2003 and is updated on a regular basis. She and Ds brother didnt separate until September 2004, and shes the one who initiated it. It wouldnt piss any of us off so much if she werent living a lie. Back in November she told me, verbatim, Its over. Yet shes still going to marriage counseling with him, pretending to make an effort to work things through, but in the meantime she keeps dating. Shes realized shes a lesbian, or at the very least is experimenting with it. Ive had an inkling about this for quite some time now. This I do not have a problem with (heck, I've thought about experimenting before - who hasn't?). What I do have a problem with is her lying to her husband, letting him work his ass into the ground, taking his money and lavishing it upon her girlfriends. According to her profile, she likes to spoil her girlfriends with gifts. Well, honey, get a freakin job and then you can spoil them as much as you want, mkay? Dont be doing it with your husbands money, while living in the house that your husbands paying for but not living in himself and leading him to believe you want to work things out when you have absolutely no intention of doing so.

Grrrrrr.

I (and many others) really hope D's brother finds out about this. Soon.

Theres so much more I could say about this situation right now. If I do, this entry will end up being way too long. Ill bitch about it more later.

For now, Im off to defeat the Sith Lords!

Be well. Thanks for stopping by! :-)
